Our Appointment Fees (Clinical Psychologist)

• Individual Consultation (50 mins + 10mins note writing/preparation) = $235

• After hours sessions (starting before 10am or finishing after 6pm) = $245

• Urgent/Last Minute Booked sessions (within 2 business days)* = $250

Note: The Australian Psychological Society recommends a cost of $311 (July 2024).

Medicare Rebates

Medicare rebates of $141.85 are available. You are eligible for up to 10 per calendar year provided you have a mental health care plan and referral from a General Practitioner.

This makes a regular session out of pocket cost = $93.15

Your doctor can provide a referral allowing you to claim rebates for an initial six sessions, and a further four sessions with review, per calendar year.

Note: Private Insurances will have varied rebates. Please confirm these with them to understand your out of pocket expense.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

If you have an NDIS plan, you will have different arrangements for payment based on your allowed budget. Craft Psychology is happy to accept NDIS referrals and can work with yourself and/or care coordinators to arrange services.

Cancellation Policy

We ask that you give as much notice as possible when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment so that we can try to fill the appointment allowing more people an opportunity to receive help.

• Cancelled or rescheduled appointments within 2-1 business days incur a $50 fee.

• Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 1 business day will incur a $100 fee.

• Appointments not attended with any notice will incur a fee 50% of the session cost**.

* Waitlist sessions do not count as last minute bookings and will be the standard fee for that timeslot.

** A Medicare rebate cannot be processed for late cancellation fees.
